Ankeny, Iowa — The National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) has officially launched the new Chimney Professional Certification Program. Chimney sweeps can become a Certified Chimney Professional (CCP), Certified Chimney Reliner (CCR) and Certified Chimney Journeyman (CCJ) beginning today.

The new and enhanced certifications were developed over the past year with the input of nearly 600 chimney sweeps following rigorous international standards. NCSG has worked transparently with the industry to ensure the tasks, knowledge and skills demonstrated by passing the CCP, CCR and CCJ exams recognize the credibility of the certified chimney professional.

Ankeny, Iowa — The National Chimney Sweep Guild (NCSG) is pleased to announce the development of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited certification programs. When completed in 2022, the ANSI accreditation will offer chimney and venting professionals certifications that are held to the highest possible standard.
